The Earthquakers are activists from the quacker tradition, and the eco-justice tradition too. Coming into their own in Pennsylvania in the last couple years around the issue of mountaintop removal and the financing of this destructive coal mining process by PNC Bank, headquartered in Philly – they try to dramatize, educate, and ultimatly are willing to risk arrest for their nonviolent direct action inside and around big banks.
